Guardian Builds

Jedi Knights in SWTOR can become one of two advanced classes at level 10, a Jedi Sentinel (DPS Class) or a Guardian (Melee DPS/Tank Class). The Guardian uses heavy armor, shields and uses the force to tank or do heavy damage. Guardians have three trees to choose talents from: Defense (Tanking tree), Vigilance (DPS tree) and Focus (a shared DPS tree shared with the Jedi Sentinel Class).

Below I will list the best jedi guardian builds to use for jedi knight so you can play your class more effectively.

guardian tank build33/8/0 - Jedi Guardian Tank Build -This is probably going to be the cookie cutter build for jedi guardian tanks. Keep in mind gear may allow you to switch out Accuracy for Preseverence for increased threat generation.

 

Vigilance Builds

Guardian builds that focus on the Vigilance tree(DPS tree).

vigilance pve build4/32/5 - Guardian Vigilance PVE Build

Vigilance PVE Rotation:

Beginning of Fight: Saber Throw > Force Charge > Sundering Strike > Plasma Brand > Overhead Slash > Combat Focus > Sundering Strike > Blade Storm > Plasma Brand

After that just prioritize using the following abilities off cooldown until target is below 20%:
• Sundering Strike
• Plasma Brand
• Overhead Slash
• Blade Storm
• Force Stasis
• Force Sweep

When Target Below 20%: Combat Focus > Sundering Strike > Dispatch > Plasma Brand > Sundering Strike > Force Stasis > Dispatch

After that just prioritize using the following abilities off cooldown:
• Dispatch
• Sundering Strike
• Plasma Brand
• Overhead Slash
• Force Sweep

Primary Stats: Strength > Accuracy > Power > Crit > Surge
